Well he DID say he's not a fan of isekai, so.....

While I don't agree with all his takes on isekai, I DO get why he doesn't care for the genre. Kinda hard to really like isekai when most of it is literally more or less the same thing with a different name and there's too few isekai actually worth watching. Or did you forget Isekai Smartphone was a thing?

Also, not to defend him per se, but as far as humor I get comedy's subjective. However, this is the guy who did two videos summing up both Re:Zero and Darling in the Franxx in 8 minutes and 10 minutes respectively. That should give you an idea on his humor, so if that's your conclusion, I'm not sure what else to say but shrug, especially since you said the reason you don't like him is because he dumps on shows you like.

I agree, some of the shots ARE cheap, but then again, it's "in a nutshell". What were you expecting? If his Re:Zero video was the first video of his you watched, that should've given you an idea on what to expect from humor, meaning there's gonna be opinions of his you're gonna disagree with, so if in that month or two, you went through (I assume) at least 5-6 of his videos and his "cheap or petty sarcastic shots" were enough to turn you away because he said something about a show you didn't like, I hate to say it, but that's on YOU Chief.

IDK who Hannah Gatsby is but I will say this. Having watched Hataraku Maou-sama (Devil is a Part-Timer) for the first time back in May, I WILL admit, it's overrated, and the fans memeing the heck outta it for years didn't help. However, if I were you, I wouldn't exactly go public with saying Re:Zero is an "overrated mess" while ALSO saying you'd rather watch "some lukewarm isekai" like Isekai Cheat Magician, unless you're intending on starting a war with some fans. Some might even invalidate your opinion because of that.

Lol, Idk about this reviewer but, isn't it fine to just watch what you want to?
No one is better to know you own tastes than yourself, so why to bother to watch someone saying that this is good for you?
I mean, flaming will not hit him anyway, unless you're up to do this with a good amount of random guys on his channel.

... I'm just saying that you're losing some of your precious time that you could've watched another EP of another anime, with a discussion that will definitely not bring any results for both parts.
